What types of waste do you collect?
We cover everything from standard rubbish removal and full house clearances, to garden waste, furniture & appliance disposal, scrap metal, and commercial collections.
What areas do you cover?
We operate across West & North Yorkshire, key towns include Harrogate, Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Brighouse and Dewsbury.
How much will it cost?
Prices start from £45, however cost depends on the waste type, quantity etc. Please contact us for a quote, or use our online booking system.
How do I get a quote?
Just send us a few clear photos of the waste (via WhatsApp, our website or email) and tell us your location. We’ll respond with a free, no-obligation quote and let you know available collection slots. Or you can book and pay online.
How can I pay for my waste collection?
We take card payments, cash and also Paypal, BACS payments or book and pay on the website.
Can you collect the same/next day?
Yes, we often accommodate same-day or next-day collections, subject to availability. Contact us early for the best chance.
Where does my waste go?
All waste is taken to an authorised disposal facility. We drive over the weighbridge so we know exactly how much we’re disposing of — this lets us manage costs and compliance accurately.
How much waste is recycled?
We aim to recycle up to 90% of the waste we collect. Items in reusable condition are often donated to local charities, reducing landfill and supporting the community.
What hours/days do you collect?
We generally collect between 8am and 4pm on Monday to Saturday.
What types of waste can't you collect?
We cannot collect certain hazardous items such as licensable asbestos, industrial chemicals, paint strippers, pressurised gas canisters (kegs), oils or large volumes of contaminated soil. Please contact us for advice if in doubt.
How do I submit photos of my waste for collection?
You can upload the images via our website, via whatsapp, our contact form, send a message via Facebook or email them directly at bookings@leeds-junk.co.uk
Do you collect/dispose of commercial waste?
Yes, we do all types of commercial waste from schools, shops and retail, sole traders, small businesses, restaurants and construction waste.
Do you collect green waste/garden waste?
Yes, we do collect and recycle all types of garden and green waste such as grass, tree cuttings, wood, mulch, gravel etc.
Do you accept large loads, soil or hardcore?
Yes — for bigger quantities (for example, soil, hardcore, garden spoil) we provide grab-wagon services and can handle loads of several tonnes.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes — we are fully licensed by the Environment Agency (Waste Carriers Registry) and adhere to all waste-disposal regulations.
Is using your service cheaper than hiring a skip?
Often, yes — especially for smaller to medium amounts of waste. The cost depends on volume, type of waste and location, so we recommend you send photos and we’ll compare for you.
Do you do full house clearances?
Yes, we do full house clearances and business and office clearouts. We also do full hoarder clearouts and garage clearances.
Do you dismantle furniture or garden buildings?
Yes — we can take down and dispose of garden sheds, greenhouses, large furniture, and dismantle unwanted structures if needed.
Do I have to load the waste into the van myself?
No, you don’t. Our trained crew handle all the heavy lifting, loading and clean-up so you can relax — we do the hard work for you.
Do I need to be at home when you collect the waste?
Not always. If your waste is accessible (e.g. driveway, garden, front of property) and you’ve sent us clear photos, we can often collect without you being on-site. We’ll confirm the price beforehand and send a photo once the job is complete.
Do I need to take the waste outside?
No, our team will carry the waste outside and load it into the van.
